I’ve spent a meaningful portion of this afternoon reading items referenced on the wikipedia entry List of unexplained sounds and being afraid and thinking about B-movie scripts. Quacker and Julia are particularly terrifying.

Bloop just sounds like an ice cube being dropped into a cup of water, but I’m guessing if I read some Lovecraft my Terrifying Unknown Sounds Power Poll rankings are going to move around.
